| Description
|
KTA is an excellent optical non-linear crystal developed recently for non-linear optical and electrooptical device applications.
Potassium Titanyle Arsenate(KTiOAsO4), or KTA crystal, is an excellent nonlinear optical crystal for Optical Parametric Oscillation (OPO) Application. OPO devices based on KTAs are reliable, solid state sources of tunable laser radiation exhibiting energy conversion efficiencies above 50%. KTA has significantly lower absorption in 2,0-5,0 micron range compared with KTP nonlinear crystal. KTA crystal also diverges from other nonlinear crystals with its high damage threshold.
