Tunable beam expanders with magnification 2x–8x are Galilean type and contain air spaced lenses, thus are suitable for high power applications. Mounting thread M27x1 is compatible with common 4-axis and 5-axis mounts, compact design makes it reasonable for industrial environment. Standard beam expanders are designed for three Nd:YAG harmonics, but custom wavelengths are available. Altechna also provides beam expanders for femtosecond lasers.
