Altechna announces Mr. Antanas Laurutis as new CEO

Altechna is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Antanas Laurutis, to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 1st of February 2019. Antanas will continue to carry out Altechna’s strategy, leading the company to further international growth and delivering on our promises to customers all over the world.

Antanas joined Altechna straight out of university and over the years has shown the highest degree of professionalism in every role he has held at the company”– noted Gintas Šlekys, Chairman of the Board.

Antanas joined the company in 2012 and became Head of Sales in 2016 leading an ambitious sales team of 20 people. Antanas features strong technical expertise and academic background in optics, optical coatings, lasers, and laser applications.

 

Mr. Per Moller, who has served two years as Altechna’s CEO, is now transitioning to focus on his new start-up fund, 70Ventures. Per has contributed to the company’s international growth and implementing its new strategy.

Altechna is a Lithuania-based custom laser optics company in the photonics industry with worldwide customers. The company focuses on developing complex technological solutions and custom-tailored designs of laser optics and related accessories for laser applications for the industrial, defense and academic customer.
