Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Working closely with engineering, R&D, production, and customer-facing teams, you will help resolve technical and customer-related issues, and support continuous improvement across the organization. Your work will have a direct impact on product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, production, R&D and other teams to resolve technical issues and customer complaints
• Lead root-cause analysis and monitor the implementation and progress of corrective and preventive actions
• Support customer quality inquiries and ensure effective communication
• Participate in internal audits and provide support during external customer audits
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization

Required skills

• Education in Physics, Material Science, Engineering, Photonics, or related fields
• Work experience in high-precision manufacturing (ideally – optics, lasers)
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end
• Understanding of Quality Assurance tools, standards (ISO 9001 and etc.), and problem-solving methodologies (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and etc.)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Analytical mindset and a systematic approach to tasks
• Fluency in Lithuanian and good English language skills
• Experience working in quality-driven environments (LEAN) (advantage)
• Experience with CAPA, NCR and customer complaint management systems (advantage)
